Trame is job management software for UK tradespeople: sole traders and small firms such as electricians, plumbers, builders, heating engineers, roofers and cleaners. It covers the work from the first enquiry to the final payment.
How does a job run in Trame?
Customers describe the job on your enquiry form, you price it from your own price book, and they accept the quote online. Each job keeps its appointments, costs, photos and notes together, and the invoice is issued from the quote with any deposit taken off.
How do my customers pay?
By bank transfer, using the bank details on your invoice. Connect Stripe and they can also pay by card or Pay by Bank, straight into your account. Trame takes no cut.
Does it handle CIS and the reverse charge?
Yes. Invoices handle CIS deductions and the domestic reverse charge, and expenses are sorted into HMRC categories.
What does Trame connect to?
FreeAgent: invoices, expenses and payments sync to it. Xero, ChatGPT and Claude are coming soon. You can also export invoices and expenses as CSV files, with expenses in Xero, FreeAgent or QuickBooks format.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Trame runs in the browser on a phone or a computer.
